Nickname: I was always called by my surname growing up however, now I don’t have a nickname. Call me anything, just don’t call me down…
Describe yourself in 3 words: Hard-working. Fun. Talkative.
What do you do for the Club? I am the Principle Administrator for the Club. I oversee any of the off-court questions, do the boring stuff of the club and the important things like registering the squads and the players too. I’ll help out anywhere I can – I’m pretty much the tea lady to this lot (hehehe)…
What is your most prized possession? My iPhone – its my second brain (well, my only one if you ask some people)
How did you first get involved in basketball? I played basketball in High School in PE
What do you do to relax off-court? Relax? Whats that mean?
Who is your favourite basketball team? NBA team – Toronto Raptors. BBL team – Glasgow Rocks
Who is your favourite basketball player of all time? There is only one right answer here, Michael Jordan
What is your ultimate ambition? For NL Titans (and Above the Rim Basketball) to be noticed nationally as thee biggest development and competitive club across the country
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Probably still standing at 5″3, anyway…. being involved in the club, at some capacity.
Do you have any pre-game rituals (as a coach or player)? I don’t play so, I’d say to motivate the players – if its a “lets do this!” speech or a “don’t be nervous – do your best!”
A phrase or saying that motivates you the most? “Leave it on the court” – as a coach, all I ask for is commitment
What is your most memorable basketball moment? Cheesily enough, probably watching the first ever Titans team take to the court. The amount of hard work and paperwork (heheh!) needing done to make that happen – it was a good moment.
Who would you like to be for one day? A taller version of me, would be helpful…
If you could invite any five people to dinner, who would they be? The Rock. Leo Messi. The late great, Paul Walker. My mum (cause she’ll want to see if I can cook). Kaley Cuoco.
And finally, what would you say to someone who is looking at joining the Club?
Come along and try it out for size. Basketball is a great sport to learn.
